Meet the Doctor

Meet the Doc:

Dr. Martha Nessler was born and raised in the Springfield Area and has returned home to provide a resource on health and wellness to the families Central Illinois.  She believes that each individual deserves the chance to live their life to their Optimal level, enjoying each and every day!

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana where she received a Bachelor's in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in early childhood education. For her Doctoral studies, she attended Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri.  There she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and her Doctorate in Chiropractic. While at Logan she extended her studies outside the regular curriculum with post-graduate studies in nutrition, pregnancy and pediatrics, soft tissue and sports rehabilitation, scoliosis and spinal curve restoration. She also served as an Assistant Chiropractic Clinic Director at the Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Center in St.Louis, MO. Dr. Nessler is also a Barnes Jewish Certified Doula.

Outside of her office Dr. Nessler leads the same lifestyle she encourages her patients to lead. She is an avid runner and a member of the Springfield Road Runners Club. She also participates in triathlons: swimming, biking, and running.  She recently completed her first Ironman in Tempe, AZ.  Dr. Nessler is active within the community.

She is a member of Rotary International, the National Association of Women's Business Owner's, and BNI (Business Networking International).  Dr. Nessler is also working with help organize the 1^st annual American Cancer Society Golf Outing at Panther Creek Golf Course.  Dr. Nessler is a member of Hope Church.
